The Sheet Pan Shortcut To Avoid Rolling Pizza Dough
While you can always pick up your phone and order from your favorite pizza joint, making pizza at home is healthier, tastes better, and gives you control of exactly what's going into your meal. Making and rolling out dough is the hardest part of pizza making, but you can use a sheet pan to eliminate the need for any rolling at all.
To try this method, you'll need two balls of dough that are approximately one pound each. Grease a sheet pan with olive oil, butter, or cooking spray, then place one ball at one end of the sheet and the other ball at the other end and gently flatten the two balls, working the dough towards the middle of the sheet.
Join the slowly expanding sheets of dough in the middle so that your entire pan is lined with dough and tight with the corners, which will give the pizza crispy edges. Cover the dough with your toppings and bake it in the oven at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes to get an easy and delicious pizza with less effort.
