  • Emery worked on the development of a line of cookware, providing insight into design as well as creating the literature and recipes that accompanied the product.
  • She also created and managed several kitchenware review sites, reviewing cookware, gadgets, and other culinary products.
  • In addition to traditional Norwegian recipes passed down from her grandmother, Emery enjoys crafting homemade pasta dishes.


Emery has been writing and teaching writing for well over a decade, beginning with freelance copywriting. She has taught first-year writing and creative nonfiction while also tutoring and advising university students. In 2017, she transitioned to web marketing and content writing, where she wrote and managed content across various industries. After completing her MFA in creative writing, Emery founded a website providing writing and marketing services tailored to witchy writers. Her creative writing, reviews, and articles have been featured in print and digital publications.


Emery holds a B.A. and M.A. in rhetoric and composition from Boise State University. She recently completed an MFA in creative writing at Antioch University Los Angeles.
