Mocktails, Freezer Tutorials, Ingredient Swaps
  • Claire grew up in Indiana, and, true to her roots, will devour any dish that contains sweet corn.
  • She loves learning about where our food comes from and how it's processed. She even attended a class on hog butchering!
  • Claire's weirdest flex is that she can tell you how to freeze almost any food or drink successfully.

Claire has worked as a professional writer and editor for nearly a decade and has written almost exclusively about food and drink since the very beginning. She got her start working as an associate editor at Spoon University, a food website that provides college students with a platform to share personal stories, recipes, restaurant reviews, and more. Claire began her freelance writing career in 2018 and has worked alongside some of the top food bloggers in the industry to create SEO-optimized recipe content.

Claire triple majored in English, Germanic studies, and international studies at Indiana University-Bloomington.
